Privacy notice: klarero launch list

Who we are

This list is run by klarero. klarero is a Polymarket data site in development. It is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Polymarket. Contact: [email protected]

What we keep

Your email address, and a record of when you agreed and what you agreed to. We don't ask for your name, phone number, wallet address or country.

How your consent is recorded: when you sign up, Buttondown stores the subscription in its subscriber record, together with the consent box you ticked, your 18+ confirmation and the time you subscribed.

Why, and on what basis

To email you for three things only: now, so you can confirm the address; to invite you to test klarero before it opens; and when klarero opens. We rely on your consent for this. You don't have to give us your address, but without it we can't send any of these emails. We won't use your address for anything else, sell it, give it to others, or upload it to ad platforms.

Who handles it

Buttondown sends the emails and holds the list. Cloudflare hosts this site.

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. We don't use analytics or tracking scripts.

Buttondown processes data in the United States. For addresses from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, its data processing agreement uses the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

If you unsubscribe, we delete your address within 14 days. If you never confirm, we delete it within 30 days. We delete the whole list six months after the launch email goes out, or on June 30, 2027 if klarero hasn't opened by then. Messages you send to our contact address are deleted on the same schedule.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your address, limit or object to how we use it, or get a copy of it. You can withdraw consent at any time with the unsubscribe link, which doesn't affect anything sent before. The klarero team handles these requests, including deletion. Write to [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.

Age

You must be 18 or older.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too. We won't use your address for anything new.
